A Decade of Triangle Oktoberfest 10/4 & 10/5

If you don’t like beer and you don’t like pretzels, well, we might not be friends, but if you don’t love weiner dogs, then we are definitely enemies. The Apex Sunrise Rotary Club aka the breakfast bunch together with the MacGregor Rotary Club are hosting their 10th annual Oktoberfest this Saturday and Sunday at the Koka Booth Amphitheater. Miracle League of the Triangle has been designated as the main beneficiary and charity partner. You can read more about the Miracle League here.
Live entertainment will again showcase the King Guys Oktoberfest Brass Band with a great mix of traditional German songs and fun crowd favorites, the largest and most exciting Wiener Dog Races in NC with an added race on Friday, a kid friendly (and parent approved) Kinder Platz with inflatables and face painting, MassKrugstemmen for a chance to qualify for the 2nd Annual Stein Hoist Championships, SchlagenHammer (Hammer-Striking) competitions, the always crowd pleasing Miss and Mr. Oktoberfest contest, the AutoBahn to showcase German precision engineering, and a German Meetup Spot hosted by the Sisters City Association of Cary.

Tickets are sold separated for the following times:
Friday, October 4, 2024 5:00pm – 10:00pm (evening)
Saturday, October 5, 2024 12:00pm – 8:00pm (full day)
Saturday, October 5, 2024 4:00pm – 8:00pm (evening)

Patrons that bring their own weiner dog (even if they aren’t racing) get in free. This is actually true and WE LOVE IT!

TRADITIONAL BEER, FOOD, AND FARE

• Over 50 beers including Hofbrau, Paulaner, Bitburger, Ayinger, Hacker Pschorr, and Spaten from Mὓnich, along with a host of seasonal Oktoberfest beers and favorites from local craft breweries.

• Traditional Bavarian food from Capital Club 16, Annelore’s German Bakery, other local vendors, and, of course, fire-grilled Brats from The Butcher’s Market!

• Option for unlimited beer sampling glasses. Enjoy, but please drink responsibly.
