Bee Sweet Creamery Calls Out to the Community
If there is one that that the Apex community is known for (there’s actually a million things), it’s rallying around our local business owners. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Bee Sweet Creamery opened up about the challenges they've been facing recently. The local soft serve creamery, known for its delightful mission to always “bee kind”, revealed that they were struggling to stay afloat and appealed to the Apex community for support. In their post, they humbly compared themselves to Dairy Queen, a comparison that sparked a passionate response from one follower. One loyal customer commented, “I stop at Bee Sweet about twice a week. It it is REALLY yummy soft-serve and indeed much better than DQ”. This endorsement resonated with many and highlighted the unique quality and charm of Bee Sweet Creamery. The community’s response was nothing short of extraordinary. Patrons flocked to the creamery, eager to show their support. The outpouring of love and the subsequent surge in business led to a remarkable event: Bee Sweet Creamery sold out of ice cream and had to close their doors for the night. The owners took to social media once more, expressing their profound gratitude. “This past week has been incredible, and I couldn't be more grateful for the overwhelming support you all have shown since our last post.” This story is a testament to the power of community and the high regard in which Bee Sweet Creamery is held. It’s a reminder that local businesses are the heart of Apex, and with the community’s support, they can overcome even the toughest challenges. Stay tuned to Bee Sweet Creamery’s social media for updates and new offerings as they continue to serve the Apex community with their exceptional soft serve and sweet treats. P.S. all of their toppings are made from scratch AND they have homemade choco tacos!

🚌Wake County Public Requests Voluntary Opt-Out for Bus Service🚌
On Tuesday night, Wake County Public Schools sent an email communicating concerns regarding the dependability of bus service for the upcoming school year. The email stated, “As you are probably aware, our transportation department continues to face a severe shortage of bus drivers. This shortage will cause delays in service during the upcoming school year. Sometimes, no bus will be available and students will have to find alternative transportation to and from school.” The email requested that any families that could provide their own transportation communicate via a form to opt out of bus service. There was no other communication in the email regarding expectations beyond delays and the potential for cancelled bus routes.
