Apex Police Community Academy is still accepting applications
Are you interested in joining us for the 2024 Community Police Academy?

The Community Police Academy is designed to provide members of the community with an understanding of the operations of the Apex Police Department and the law enforcement profession. Topics that will be covered include patrol operations, criminal investigations, crime scene investigations, traffic safety and enforcement, crash investigations, and other related fields.

To participate in the program, you must be 21+ years of age, be a resident of Apex, submit to a background investigation, provide a copy of a government-issued ID (driver's license, passport and submit to a release of confidentiality agreement.

To request an application, please contact APD Community Policing Officers at [email protected]. For more information, please call 919-362-8661.

Applications must be submitted by August 16th, 5PM.
