A Busy Week for Our First Responders
Apex Police and Fire were on the scene of many situations like the one pictured above. While they were busy responding, they were also dedicated to educating the community on what might happen and shared the information below.
🚨 If you come to a stop light that isn't working, you should treat it as a four-way stop and come to a complete stop before entering the intersection.
🚨If you come to a flooding road, turn around and don't drown. Just 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock over an adult, and 12 inches can carry away most cars.
🚨If you come across downed power lines, you should assume they are energized and dangerous and stay at least 30 feet away. You should never touch a power line with your body or objects, as electricity can travel through conductive materials like water, metal, wood, aluminum, string, and plastics.

A Glimpse of What’s to Come for PNC Arena
Raleigh Downtown shared a rendering of the new mixed use complex and it looks pretty amazing. Did you know that The Carolina Hurricanes hockey fans are some of the few that tailgate during the regular season and the playoffs!? The $300M renovation of PNC Arena also comes with a $1B investment by the Carolina Hurricanes to build out a mega-Mixed Used District.
